From A Teacher's View

In the middle of my lesson, I took a quick glance around the room.  A smile quickly following.  THEY'VE GOT IT!    Busy, focused, purposeful learning was taking place for EACH child.   They know what to do, how to do it and after lots of practice this quarter, they are doing it!  They are taking responsibility of their own learning.  A proud first grade teacher moment! 
I start out as the driver of this bus each year.  Slowly, I become a passenger.  Your children are learning to drive!
